Traveling by a cheap flight isn't sufficient if you are really looking at saving some of your hard earned money. Read on to save on "hidden cost" of traveling or taking a cheap flight.
It makes much more sense to travel mid week as compared to weekends. As several researches indicates that the mid week deals offered by various flight operators are relatively cheap as compared to those on weekends.
You can also book a really cheap flight, in case you are ready to take off or land on a popular holiday. For e.g. on a day like Fourth of July, the travel space would be less cluttered and hence availability of best deals is more.
Also it makes great sense to pack food for cheap flights as the food and beverages available in flight are in no way cheap and can substantially increase your travel cost

While most cruise ships that take you to the fjords concentrate more on bingo, yoga, entertainment and ways to keep you busy, MS Vesteralen is a cruise with a difference: it gives you a pristine experience of the fjords and nothing else. While the ship has all the comforts of a cruise ship, it takes the visitors to some of the best fjord villages in the area, unlike other fjords cruises that dump you into hamlets at odd times.
This 'cruise' goes to some of the remotest islands in the Arctic and boasts being the only ship that goes to some of the best fjords. If you are fed up with luxury cruises, you can take an adventurous journey with any of the Hurtigruten ships that leaves Bergen, Norway, every day!
